Electronic Signaling Device for a Deaf Interpreter to Use to Gain the Attention of a Student in the Classroom

These outstanding technology students designed a signaling device for use by deaf interpreters and their hearing impaired students. It is used by an interpreter to provide a silent visual signal to a hearing impaired student in order to get his/her attention when they need to sign. This signal lets the hearing-impaired student know when to look up from their work and focus on their interpreter, and it does so without disturbing or distracting the entire class. Their designed utilized a RF transmitter and receiver circuit professional packaged in sturdy plastic cases.
