PHILOSOPHY

Our education programs engage kids in hands-on, design and science experiences that are fun, challenging, and creative - and experience is the key! We believe that experiential learning is the key to getting students motivated to learn science, mathematics, and technology, and the only way to get them to appreciate the application and relevance of science and mathematics. It is essential to get students hooked on learning science and technology in middle school, before they lose their natural curiosity, and lose interest in studying science and mathematics.

Although our programs involve teaching science and math skills, we minimize the direct instruction, and instead, we immerse students in an environment that fosters exploration, inquiry and problem solving in order to help them develop a deeper tacit understanding of important ideas. These are the types of learning experiences that students do not have very often in school; yet, these are becoming the most important skills for life and career success.
